Heya Somchok,

Yeah sound does work out of the box with Jaunty but has 2 problems, some fiddling is needed to get the microphone to work but nothing to hard and the other problem is a silly bug where when mute is pressed the sound is muted, when you un-mute, you have to click the speaker icon in the system tray, then click Volume Control and un-click the mute on the Front channel.

But at least it starts off working straight away unlike Hardy Heron. So Ubuntu is going in the right direction.

Just for the record I'm in the middle of updating my site so this thread will be updated with how to do all these little things and also any little bugs / niggles I find along the way.

Anyway questions in the mean time everyone feel free to ask.

Cheers,
Matt
